I think I can honestly say that this wedding party was one of the, well, liveliest groups in a long time. I don’t think there was a dull moment all day/night and I mean that in the very best way. The shots got in the hallway are some of my favs for this season. This couple also benefited from the uber-talent of my 2nd for the day, Leigh Taylor.

Credit where credit is due…this one of the men was shot by my 2nd for the day Leigh.

What great light…in a church!!!
Still in the church mind you…
Did I mention they were fun to work with?

No, they didn’t know this was on the itinerary…but I did
SAMPLES: Tanya & Kai Wedding

What can I say? Tanya, Kai and their bridal party were some of the coolest people I have worked with to date. What photographer wouldn’t love to photograph a bride who says one of her “must have” shots is her doing a roundhouse kick to the head of the groom…in her wedding dress? Nuff said! This wedding was great fun and I think her guests have probably forgiven her for scheduling it in Gainesville on the day of the LSU game (well, DURING the LSU game)
Great cake details!
Bubbles don’t always work this well.
Love this location.
Karate Bride…Kai, sweep the leg man, sweep the leg I told you!!!
Lean back, lean back…

NEWS: Current projects & This Weekend
Posted on October 11, 2007
I am working on one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to in awhile, or at least the wedding that had the most fun “formals” I’ve ever done. Tanya, Kai, you know I mean you! Look for that post early next week.
I will be in Minnesota this weekend shooting the Diamond Nationals martial arts tournament, one of my few sports clients I have held onto over the years. If you need me, I will be available via cell or email.
